KRUANG SAI THAI Mahori Ensemble - Thailand CD

{On the island of Phuket, the pearl of the Indian Ocean, the Mahori KRUANG SAI Ensemble performs songs and dance music in the pure musical tradition that once flourished at the royal court. The Mahori KRUANG SAI Ensemble uses string instruments such as the chakhe (a tube zither that has been in use since the fourteenth century), with a wooden notched flute, the khlui, percussion instruments - a goblet drum, thon and a frame drum.
