Sahara - The sands of time CD

Tuareg, Peul, Songhay...three peoples of the Sahara with three different systems of belief (a combination of animism and Islam) – but all with the same desire to celebrate life (baptism, marriage, the return of a caravan, praise for domestic animals, spirits, etc) through song and playing light instruments (fiddle, lute, flute, various drums) in the nomadic tradition.
