Featuring enchanting, soothing music with touches of beats and mystical Eastern vocals, the fourth album release from Bahramji is a tribute to Sufi music and the artist’s Persian roots.
Bahramji, born in the Persian city of Kermanshah, began his musical development at a young age. He is a virtuoso on the santoor, a traditional string instrument, and also plays the settar and the ney, a Persian bamboo flute. He has sung interpretations of mystic poets such as Rumi, Saadi, Attar, and Hafez.
Mashti, born in Norway, was surrounded with music from birth because of his father, the well-known modern classical composer Arne Nordheim. He has made music for documentaries and art installations, and has worked as a DJ for the last 15 years in Denmark, Holland, and India. Online support through various partners. Bahramji tours regularly around the globe.
