Excitement spreads across Spain beginning on Nochebuena (Christmas Eve). From Madrid to Santillana, Mallorca to Santander, the air is filled with sacred and secular carols from the 24th of December until the 6th of January, Epiphany, the commemoration of the arrival of the Magi in Bethlehem.
