In response to numerous requests for Yiddish ballroom dancing music, this CD contains 14 tango pieces in Yiddish! Despite the horrors of the Holocaust during the WWII, the Yiddish culture is well preserved and still alive today. Hataklit realizes the importance of maintaining the unique Jewish-Yiddish heritage. Ballroom dancing has always been a popular pastime in the classical Yiddish culture, and lately there has been a growing crowd of dancers in need of appropriate music. Hopefully, this album will help meet that need!
