Academy-Award winning composer John Corigliano (The Red Violin) is just about the hottest American classical composer alive today, known also for his opera The Ghosts of Versailles, a big hit at the Met, and many acclaimed recordings.
This CD offers five early (1965-1976) Corigliano works that have either gone out of print on CD, or have never even been issued on CD. Widespread interest and praise are guaranteed for this release.
